Make no mistake about it, traveling for HIV awareness and AIDS prevention can be a thankless task. Few people would admit to this. After all, we all have our images to maintain. Fewer still will acknowledge the issue and tie it to the overall effectiveness of their advocacies. As unpleasant as it may seem, it is still definitely worth talking about. We need to put a lot of things on the table so people all over the world who share our mission and vision can have a clear view of the ups and downs and specific challenges of this particular mission. We won’t be doing ourselves any favors if we just sweep many topics under the rug and call it a day. Not going tow work.
It’s easy to get excited if you are traveling to many developed parts of the country. These are places that have all the amenities that you’ve grown accustomed to.
These are places that give you all the creature comforts that you look forward to. In fact, these are the types of accommodations that make traveling fun.
However, there are many other places that are not as accommodating. These are places that don’t even have a water heater, believe it or not.
Now, it would be great if you could always a choice. It would be great if you can consciously choose places with water heaters over the ones that don’t.
But unfortunately, depending on where you’re going in the United States and, in particular, outside the US, this is not always an option. In fact, in many cases, you don’t have a choice.
So do yourself a big favor, plan ahead. This way, you can maximize your comfort and you at least will give yourself a series of options as far as planning your itinerary goes.
Make no mistake about it, accommodations that may not have the best tankless water heaters may sound awesome on paper.
When you’re reading the brochure and checking out people’s reviews of those accommodations, it may seem like they’re a good deal. It may seem that they’re even a great value for the money.
However, once you book a spot at these places, you may find out in the worst way possible that there’s a reason why they charge so little money. There’s a reason why so few people book there.
So spare yourself any unnecessary surprises. Look at the set of accommodations you have, call ahead, and plan your itinerary accordingly.
This way, you can rest assured that you will go to a place that has proper running water, indoor plumbing, and most importantly, use the best tankless water heaters or some sort of water heating system that’s not going to leave you cold, shivering and uncomfortable.
