Guest Editor
Would you like to be a guest editor for an issue of AHRNews?
Noting that AHRNews generally reflects AHRN’s perspectives and views even though articles are commissioned by independent authors, we would like to provide our readers with a fresh angle on such issues by inviting a guest editor to work with the Clearinghouse team in preparation for the next edition of
AHRNews, a special number on gender and drugs.
We are looking for a qualified communications person to become guest editor for the next issue of
AHRNews. Preferably, the ideal candidate would have editing and information sharing experience with civil society groups, would have significant technical experience working with female drug users, and an excellent mastery of English.
The editor would be responsible to commission, review and edit articles for the next edition. The editorial line-up would be discussed and agreed upon between the AHRN editor and the nominated guest editor. Note that the next issue of
AHRNews is scheduled to be published in January 2009.
By taking this initiative, we hope to continue to improve the quality of topics and content of
AHRNews and contribute to essential dialogue with all relevant stakeholders to move harm reduction forward across Asia.
If you are interested in becoming the guest editor for the next issue of AHRNews, please contact the current editor at
pascal@ahrn.net or send an email to ahrnews@ahrn.net
along with your resume and a letter of interest specifying how you can add value to
AHRNews. Selection of the guest editor will be processed by an independent working group based in Northern Thailand.
